Shrink-Rap Press website redesign is under way

Our new book, "Lost in a Mind Field" is now available. It's about Schizophrenia and other psychoses. We've redesigned our website to coincide with the book's launch. To have a look at the new book, click on the Books button above.

The site is still being developed and, for the moment, much of the content is taken directly from our previous site. Some additional galleries are being developed. It's likely that there will be a blog added in the near future so direct feedback will be easy.

The book ordering system still requires that you print out an order form and fax it or mail it to Shrink-Rap Press. We are developing a store for the site so that you will soon be able to order directly through the site.

Shrink-Rap Press publishes books about emotional and psychiatric disorders. Each book explains a mental health problem in a simple way. Shrink-Rap books are all by experienced psychiatrists so, although the drawings are weird and wonderful, the information is sound. In a Shrink-Rap book, almost every idea is illustrated by a cartoon or drawing. Cartoons are ideal for illustrating emotional turmoil as they allow you to look at and understand things that are otherwise pretty hard to face.

Shrink-Rap Press has been publishing books about various psychiatric and emotional problems since 1994.

If you happen to have a psychiatric problem, advice will flow from all quarters. Everyone has a mind so everyone is an expert. Some advice is good but much of it is useless, unwise or dangerous.
