This cartoon was originally published in "Australasian Psychiatrist" in 2001. It related to an article on the use of small computers called "personal digital assistants" or PDAs in psychiatric practice. The more general message of the cartoon is a comment on the enthusiasm, within many areas of psychiatry, for replacing the troublesome business of actually talking with someone, with the use of questionaires, in particular with computerised questionaires. |
